We first met through our common interest in retriever field work in the early 1980’s. Virginia was training her golden, Sunfires’s Sweet Mischief CD SH WCX Can CD WC, for field work and Joanne was campaigning her first golden, Am Can CH Sharmel’s Autumn Magic CDX WCX Can CD, in obedience and conformation and was drawn into field training by the WC / WCX program offered by the GRCA.  Involved in AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials both as judges and participants we have earned Master Hunter, Senior Hunter and All Age titles on multiple dogs. Primarily interested in performance venues our Otterbrook dogs’ desire and aptitude have lead to them competing in agility, field, obedience, rally, tracking and dock diving.
